There are seven government-approved Research and Technology Organizations in Denmark. These are called GTS institutes. The GTS institutes are gathered in the Danish Association of Research and Technology Organizations.
Technological solutions for the present and the future
For many businesses, keeping up with accelerating technological development and implementing new technologies in products and processes can be a major challenge. Investing in new technologies can be both expensive and uncertain. This uncertainty is particularly difficult for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to handle.
The seven Danish government-approved RTO´s (GTS institutes) play a key role in the Danish innovation system as the link between technology and business. They seek to make new technological methods applicable to businesses and promote businesses uptake of new technology.

Here's what companies are saying about GTS
"We were met on equal terms. This is not about a highbrow researcher with a theoretical approach – on the contrary, the GTS specialist was not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get to work."
— Lene Andreasen, COO, Procudan
Here's what companies are saying about GTS
"It is evident that the GTS institute has done this many times before, and that their services are based on extensive knowledge from previous projects. It is quite impressive that they have the opportunity to accumulate so much knowledge and experience, which benefits us and which we could never develop on our own."
— Anders Alding, ERA Recycling
Here's what companies are saying about GTS
"GTS is generally very focused on getting these solutions to the market, and that is exactly the right mindset when you want to take a good idea to a market-ready product."
